Hello Stephanie,
Hopefully this letter helps you get to know me and help me stand among all
of your students. My full name is Ashley Dawn Hurst. I was named after a little girl who got mad at her mom for putting her hair in pigtails and cut them off at school. I come from a single parent family and never knew much of my father. My family is full of numerous crazy, obnoxious, outgoing, loving people; but that’s not how I want you to know me by.
Music is a large part of my life. Ever since I learned how to work a radio I’ve always been a metal head. Going to metal concerts are one of the biggest adrenalin rushes any metal head can have. In the middle of a huge crowd of, insanely brutal people; head banging, body surfing, and screaming fans gets the blood pumping. At the music festival, “Memphis in May,” in Tennessee, I saw one of my top five favorite bands, Korn. Memphis in May, is one of the biggest musical festival in the United States. Thousands of people from all over come to experience tons of live music from every genre. It was one of my most favorite pass times.
Ever since I was at the young age of fifteen I’ve been in love with Aaron Moll.
When I’m not working or at school you could find me with him. My life revolves around Aaron and I couldn’t be happier to be with him. He has changed my views on life all together. He has motivated me to start my life and get stuff on track; hopefully leading up to raising a family of our own later down the road. Without Aaron I would be completely lost and mortified.
College was a big step for me. I’ve never been really enthused about the thought of it. Now that I have a decent idea of what I would like to do for a career it’s made the thought not so far fetched. I would like to become a physician’s assistant. Over the course of this semester I would like to improve on my organization skills. Being more organized would help me in every aspect of my life. Also with in these short few months with in your class I would love to improve on my English skills such as; proper English use, spelling, and sentence structure.
Well Stephanie I hope this letter helped you get to know me just a little bit better then just another name on your roster. I look forward to the rest of this semester.
Sincerely,
Ashley Hurst
